Our
Well Child-Tamariki Ora
service is available to all families who have children aged up
to 5 years, and who live anywhere in the Hutt Valley or in
Wainuiomata.
The
programme helps care-givers, parents and whanau keep children
safe and well by giving them . . .
We can
see you at your home, your Kohanga Reo or at any of our 3
clinics.
Where are we?
You'll
find our clinic alongside the Waiwhetu Medical Centre
on Te Whiti Park, Waiwhetu in Lower Hutt (directly opposite the
Waiwhetu Marae on Riverside Drive).
We
also have clinics at Kokiri Pukeatua Marae Health Centre,
17 Fraser Street, Wainuiomata,
and Orongomai Marae, 1
Railway Avenue, Upper Hutt.

When can we see you?
Visits
can be arranged to suit you and your whanau. The doctor will see
you in the clinics or at your Kohanga reo.
The
Nurse and Kaiawhina will see you at your home, Kohanga Reo or at
the clinic.
Extra
visits are available on request or as needed.
Our
hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm.

Choosing the Tamariki Ora Service:
Referral to the Service can be via your midwife, your GP,
whanau, yourself or from a host of other services.
Immunisations:
Can be
done in the clinics if you are registered with the Waiwhetu or
Petone Medical Centres, or as a casual patient is you are not
registered with a GP.
